Highlights until now:

Streamed again! It was awhile since we had streamed and so many people joined us! Played jackbox and it was a ton of fun.

Been doing more cleaning on a regular basis! Very happy to keep up!

Been doing aquafit with my mom! It’s been good! Like spending time with her!

Been watching Haikyuu with my dad! He really loves volleyball and we have a good time watching together.

Played a game called roots of pacha with hubby! We love playing together! Very stardew like but more caveman vibes.

Hubby’s birthday was on the 9! Went to van dousen but it was closed so went to queen Elizabeth instead! The view was gorgeous and the flowers were beautiful. Went to earnest ice cream after! I liked the lemon poppyseed and hubby liked the sour Cherry goat cheese

We finished pokemon master journeys. I cried at the final fight with ash and Leon when they played the first opening again. It was absolutely amazing.

Managed to tell work that I’m going to school next year and figure out things about maybe supplying.

Figured out some capilano stuff and finally have a meeting with a advisor! Yay.

Went to the zelda tears of the kingdom pre release event! There were reps from nintendo and everything! A joined and she won a quiz question and got an awesome pin set! The system was calling by number I had number 4 some people had number 600. Met some cool people in line while waiting and played a bit with A when getting home.

Went to osaka temenyaki for hubby’s birthday dinner with friends! It was awesome seeing them cook in front of you and do all the cook tricks. He tossed a shrimp in his hat. A, K, M, and B joined us! We played DND afterwards and everyone was getting frustrated with each other! Hubby was happy about all our arguing and fussing.

We played tears of the kingdom together! It’s been really fun so far. I’m getting better at the mechanics for this one than the last.

It’s been really hot the past couple of days so hubby and I have been staying at the parents house while they are away and it’s been great! Love their ac unit.

Had a mini date where hubby picked me up from work and we bought some cakes. It was so good! Got ice cream after it and it dropped all over.

Highlights until now:

Had another dnd session! A and I kept trying to flirt with the vampire pirate!

We all ended up talking a lot and not paying attention to the actual session. We had a lot of fun but definitely need to stay on track next time xP

We bought new digimon cards. It gave us a good dopamine hit! Got two secret rares which is great.

Went to a drag brunch in the morning! It was fun! We played aboard game called steam up which was cute and fun to play! It was made in van which is cool!

M, B, E and I all watched dropout after the brunch which was fun.

N got her birthday gift and absolutely loved the shoes! She posed in them and everything! Glad I could get her something hunterxhunter related!

Started making a board game with the kids called dragon hoarders. You play as dragons and try to take and keep as much gold as possible! One of them helped me with designing the dragon figures.

Went swimming with my mom again which was fun! Bought a new pant suite outfit which I’ve wanted for awhile.

Got roots of pacha and hubby and I have been playing it for awhile! We both love it.

Went to the beach yesterday with hubby. Weather was gorgeous and it was so beautiful.water was sooo cold tho

Went to Stanley park with oma uncle mom and dad and hubby to celebrate his birthday a bit earlier. It was cold but nice to walk and talk with family.

Went to the skytree in Tokyo!

We went to a pokemon centre again! Also went to the kirby Sweets buying area and the jump shop!

Then went to Nakano Broadway which has all kinds of specialty stores! Got a sailor moon locket there! It was cool cause the Nakano braodway is in a digimon game so I could spot all the similarities!

Also got 8 different kinds of soft served ice cream flavours in one! It was delicious.

Found yoai yu gi oh books about him dating himself! That was fun to look at xP

Got A his souvenir! It was hard finding things from Saint seiya!

Highlights until now:

Saw a movie on Thursday three weeks in a row with A and K! First dungeons and dragons movie, second was the super Mario movie, and third was suzume!

Dungeons and dragons was hilarious and fun! Mario movie was a nostalgia high and suzume had a terrible ending but great rest of the film!

Showed off a lot of my new outfits to coworkers as I wore a new outfit I got from japan everyday after the trip at work!

Been keeping in touch with V from the trip! Send her a lot of levi pics! I like making her laugh!

N and R are coming with us on a cruise to Japan next year it’s official!

Got N a nice gift for her birthday! It’s hunterxhunter killua shoes! They haven’t gotten to her yet but she loved the design! Showed it to her on her birthday!

Got hubby the monster hunter figure he clearly wanted but refused to get while we were in Japan for his birthday in may!

Got kyo some anti anxiety treats that seem to be helping her more with her anxiety!

During Easter break we played dnd at M and B’s place! B did spelljammers! K, A, hubby M, B, and I were there! A was there over phone! A and K liked looking around Abbotsford! Played beat saver after dnd!

Hubby got sick that weekend and I took care of him on Saturday!

Sunday I went to church with my family! Hubby stayed home to rest! They covered the cross in flowers which was pretty!

After church went to Abbotsford and hung out with M and B! We all climbed at the local rock climbing place!I climbed fast and well B and M were surprised by me! M was a great climber too! Afterwards we went to Wal mart got some munchies and then headed back to their place! Played more beat saber! B us really good at that game! And hung out and chilled.

Went to the Cherry blossom festival at van dousen with A her mom, k, H, M, hubby, and O! There were a lot of us there! A’s mom was a very sweet lady! Loved meeting her. We got some baked goods from a local Japanese Bakery! It was cloudy and rainy but the food was great and it was fun to walk around and look at the flowers. It was also nice to catch up with H, M! We haven’t seen them in awhile.

March 16

Went to ikebukuro!

Checked out the animate there which was again like 6 floors! There were a lot of people walking around and there was an event close by! I wasn’t sure what the event was for but there was loud music and a stage and everything!

Saw a preview poster of one of my favourite manga series which got adapted into an anime yamada-kun lv999! Also saw a sui plush from the outdoor cooking anime!

Saw some yaoi cookies with erotica designs! Definitely bought one xP I’m not a fan of rent a girlfriend but they made a cool poster college of it out of the episodes that came out!

Went to a cosplay store nearby! The only cosplay I was interested in was inuyasha but it was just too expensive.

Stumbled upon another pokemon centre! This one is the largest store apparently! They had an additional store just dedicated to pokemom go fans! It was fun seeing all the statues and getting pics with the art!

Also found a pokemon Sweets cafe and got some drinks and ice cream! It tasted normal but the pokemon additions to it made it so special.

Next door was a one piece themed store! Never thought I’d see a whole store dedicated to just one piece! Loved pointing out the characters we both knew.

In the evening we went to don quijote in akihabara near our hostel! It was huge! Found a wooloo plush and some cool bento boxes!

Made good friends with some people at the hostel and was able to vibe with them!

Highlights until now :

My birthday has just past and I went to go see the dungeons and dragons movie with hubby A, and K! It was a great mix of adventure and humour! Loved them talking with the dead scene.

Was able to wear a bunch of outfits I had bought in Japan which was nice! Everyone liked my outfits.

Played a dnd session and A got me a cake for my birthday with a sailor moon figure on it! It was super kind of her and I absolutely loved it although I ate way too much of it!

Was able to unpack a lot of things and showed my mom a lot of the clothes I got she liked em.

It was nice to see my fellow employees again and talk with them about my trip!

Everyone has liked the souvenirs we have gotten them so far!

Booked a cruise going around Japan for summer 2024!

Rested and relaxed with hubby and recovered from the trip a bit! Hubby has taken very good care of me.

March 15 2023!

Woke up really early and took the bullet train to osaka! Took us awhile to figure out transit again but we got it eventually! Taxi’d right away to universal studios!

As soon as we got into universal we looked for passes to get into super Mario world there and the only available passes were for 7:00 pm. It wasn’t ideal since we had to check into our hostel at 10:00 and it took 25 minutes to get there by taxi. Plus we couldn’t leave the park cause otherwise our tickets would’ve been revoked.

So we spent the whole day there! Had a lot of anime featured which was cool to see! Jujutsu Kaisen, spyxfamily, and detective Conan were featured there! Got an Anya headband! Unfortunately we were to late to sign up for the scavenger hunt but it was cool to see it!

We got hubby a monster hunter headband and we picked up an extra pikachu headband since pokemon was featured there as well! We got some pokemon themed food with a squirtle churro, pikachu hot pocket and Bulbasaur slushie!

We walked around to all the different areas of the park! Tried the minion ride! It gave me motion sickness again but hubby loved it!

Lines were absolutely huge! There was another parade which was really cool! We got in line for some Mario themed treats which were delicious!

Hung around some benches for awhile and just chilled with each other! Made some jokes and had some laughs which was fun.

We weren’t sure if super Mario land was gonna be worth the wait but it absolutely was! The designs were incredible and creative. We wish we had more time to spend there but we’re hoping we might be able to next time!

We went on the Yoshi ride which was really cute! We interacted with a bunch of parts from the park too!

We made it to an authentic Japanese hostel and got to sleep on tatami floors and futons! It was so comfy and nice especially after a long day! We passed out really early.

Hubby got so many compliments on a takoyaki shirt he owned! Everyones face would light up when they saw his shirt!

Wow it has been much longer than I thought for updating this! Went to Japan this month was there for two weeks so most of my posts will cover my time there!

March 14- Tokyo Disneyland!

Took the subway to Disneyland and got up really early! It was really hard for us to navigate the subway at first and the language barrier was definitely problematic but we ended up figuring it out and felt really proud of ourselves!

The features were big hero 6 baymax, monsters Inc, toy story, pinnochio, beauty and the beasts Gaston. Very weird characters to be kinda featured. Hubby went on it’s a small world ride for the first time! Definitely not as creepy as the American version! I went on the teacup ride which was a big mistake since I was still recovering from jet lag!

I bought a bunch of Gaston merch! He’s a total jerk but he’s an absolute hilarious villain that makes me love to hate on him! It was kinda weird though that he had so much merch based on him.

I ate a mickey mouse pizza and hubby ate a mickey mouse glove that was used as the buns in a hamburger! We saw a parade which was really fun to watch!

We walked around the whole park saw the future town, cartoon town, Bell’s town, Western cowboy town, Spanish esc area. It was fun to see everything!

Went on the buzz light year lazer ride! The line was so long! We had fun shooting tho it was hard to tell where we were hitting. Went to Akihabara later that night!

Went to Animate! It was 5 stories high! Bought a bunch of stuff for me and something for my dad. Haikyuu was being sold a lot! I think with the new movie coming out soon.

Went to mandarake which was closing but we ran quickly through the floors and saw so many cool things.

Went to a bunch of other anime stores and found awesome stuff! Some pokemon stuff, spyxfamily and a lot more! There were so many anime advertisements everywhere it was really cool!

The hostel we stayed at had a really nice receptionist! We talked a bit about her life in Tokyo and shared some personal stories! We stayed in one bedroom seperated from others on a queen sized mattress! Everything was clean and nice.

Highlights until now:

I’ve been trying out aquafitness with my mom! I’ve actually really been enjoying it! It’s great to spend time with my mom and get some good excersize in! I find it improves my mood a lot too.

Went to A’s kendo tournament! She did really well! She lost to the best in the province but put up a good fight against her!

After A was done fighting M, B, K, Hubby and I all went to get fish and chips at Steveston! Pajo’s has good fish and chips! M found a great present for Robbie Damen who we were planning to meet at fan expo! It was a blue ship steering wheel fidget spinner! We explored many shops and had a blast just hanging with each other! B and I worked on the present mic cosplay I was going to wear.

For Valentine’s day Hubby and I went to see the new puss and boots movie out! We joked so much in the way to the theatre and back and teased each other a lot! I enjoyed the movie loved the dog! Hubby thought Jack horner was funny. Got hubby some dnd books for Valentine’s

My uncle P helped me spray paint my present mic headpiece for fan expo! He taught me the right techniques of spray painting! It was nice chatting with him and catching up! I also got to give my oma a hug too. The spray paint job turned out really well!

I went to big and tall and found hubby some great shirts and pants that fit him!

I got to be with S my coworker for Fridays pro d. We only had two kids and were able to chill and relax with each other!

Went to fan expo all weekend it was a blast! On Saturday M dressed up as Mary Jane and I wore a spider gwen outfit! The mask part blinded me though so I had to hold someone to know where I was going. It was pretty funny though. I met A again! It was nice since I don’t get to see him much. He brought C along whose a really nice person! I was so glad to meet her! She put up with my shenanigans!

Did major shop scouting on Saturday to not miss out on buying products that may be sold out the next day! Hubby and M met with Robbie Damen in the autograph line both wearing shirts saying good job Dorian. Hubby did really well by pushing himself to stay out all day even though he was absolutely exhausted by the end. The Robbie Damen q & a was amazing! He’s so funny and personable! Not to mention sexy! I kept telling C I wanted him to make his shirt a little more wide open that it already was (it was quite far open). We all picked out amazing dice from the expo!

I only went for a little bit on Sunday! I met Robbie Damen in autograph line and he was super nice! I gave him a lute dice holder which he seemed to like! My heart was racing the whole time talking with him I was so nervous. M, B and I picked up some things for K and A from fan expo!

Later on Sunday we had a Dnd session with everyone! Hubby invited his coworker S and K came too! We did a one shot critical role theme session. I was a molting aarakocra monk who specialized in the drunken fist. Lots of people laughed at him and we got side tracked so many times! C who has never played before laughed a lot and said she would like to give it a try! S was super cool funny and smart! We were all excited to use the new dice we got from the expo.

Today was pokemon day! I went as present mic and had a blast taking pictures with people! We went on a pikachu scavenger hunt! Went to a pokemon Q&A which I got only one question wrong and saw Ash’s current voice actress Q&A. Met the voice actress and got her to sign a nice art piece to Evan and I. I’m still wrapping around my head around ash being gone forever. I got mini donuts which were delicious! Then said goodbye to C and A! M helped me a lot with my present mic cosplay putting it on and I was super grateful!

Highlights until now :

It was B’s birthday this weekend!! We went to turquoise goat! Played doomlings a new board game! We also played exploding kittens! We browsed around a game shop and hubby and I got new dice. We then went to the rec room and met up with A and K there! Played a round of rock band! A’s projection was spot on! We had dinner there too! Got a platter together! Played lots of arcade games! A and I bombed dance dance revolution. M got to play her favourite queen song for rockband! Afterward went for ice cream and got to see A’s apartment.

Have been starting up mild excersize again and attempting to eat better. Not perfect but it’s a start!

Watched crash course in romance with my parents! They were very sweet and made me grilled cheese sandwich and Cinnamon muffins that i like!

Tried out aquafit with my mom! It was a lot of fun! It was a really hard workout and hard for me to keep up at times!

Went to B and M’s place! B and I finally made some progress on the cosplay! Hopefully we will complete it soon since fan expo is coming up. M bought some stuff she needed for her cosplay at Wal mart! We played flamecraft! I won!

Got started on getting accommodations for work again.

Bought a cat themed D20!

Have been keeping up with vox machina series! It’s really good so far! I feel like it’s a little jam packed at times but overall I’m enjoying it.
