Highlights until now:

Went swimming with hubby and parents! It was a hot day so the pool felt nice! We got dairy queen after!

Got baldurs gate 3! Hubby is absolutely loving it! I really liked the character creation!

Been binge watching bluey! Such a delight to watch and makes me feel happy at the end of the episode.

Hung out with H, M and O! O has grown a lot and is friendlier now! He definitely is more interactive! It was lovely to see H again! She vented about her trip to England and to Calgary! I vented to her about our Ottawa trip! M and hubby were chatting up a storm about so much! We played a board game went for a walk and hung out with O and their new dog Penny! She is a cute girl and really well behaved.

Had dinner with family and T who I haven’t seen since I was in Ottawa (I think early uni days). Restaurant was right by the warf! It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze! I love the waffle fries and dip they have there.

Hubby and I have been cuddling and play fighting a lot! It’s been fun.

Went to second beach pool! It was a little chilly but really fun. I clung into hubby the whole time in the water like a koala. We got some food after and enjoyed a stroll on the beach where hubby looked for crabs. It was again a lovely day with great weather.

Celebrated K’s birthday with him and A! We picked up a diary queen cake which A payed us back for. We went to a restaurant where the waitress was really nice! It was great catching up with them again! I’ve missed their company a lot.

I figured out kyo has hyperesthesia. I think it’s a mental thing for her so found some solutions of how we can give her more space and possibly less stress.

Got a lot of cleaning done! It was not fun to go through but the results make me feel better about the space I’m living in.

Been working on the scrapbook I’m making of our japan trip. It takes awhile for the gel pens to dry so it forces me to stop and do something else for a bit. I like this because then I get to come back to it frequently and am able to have a fresh perspective.

Got a cooling fan for hubby’s computer so the game won’t overheat his computer!

Really interested in the fashion game N recommended to me! Been a little too addicted to it xP

Also officially bought our tickets to Japan today for summer 2024! So excited

Highlights :

Went with N to get her nails done! They did an absolutely amazing job! I got a pedicure while I was there! It was great just to hang and joke with her. We talked about some of her worries and anxieties about life and the wedding. We also ate at the kettlemens! It was my first time and it was pretty great!

Got fully dressed up in all pink heels and pink makeup to watch the Barbie movie with N, her coworkers and her sister in laws! Her coworkers clearly love her and that makes me happy for her! The movie had its up’s and downs! It was funny sitting next to I and laughing about some of the lines or tropes in the movie.

Watched a lot of Bluey! I wasn’t crazy about it at first but as an Educator I approve and enjoy a lot of parts of it! It’s also nice to relax and not think to hard with.

Went to the Gatineau’s with Hubby and his mom! We definitely sweat a lot but it was an absolutely beautiful day! Got a lot of pictures of pink lake!

After that we went to a really nice ice cream place nearby! Absolutely love the homemade ice cream there better than anything I have yet to have in Vancouver.

I was invited to a ceremony for N before her wedding! I had not packed a dress yet for it so I borrowed one from N! When going to her house after borrowing the dress hubby, her and her family all hung out and chatted! We chatted about japan and then played some jackbox all together! It was a lot of fun.

Hubby and I had a shopping day together which was a lot of fun! I had to find some flats for the wedding so my feet wouldn’t hurt too much! I ended up finding a nice pair at ardene! Hubby also bought me a beautiful pair of heels that I am on love with. We ended up picking up some digimon cards from carta magica as well.

Went to her ceremony! Got to know her bridesmaid B who was very nice! I joked around with her a lot! S was there too and it was nice to see her. N looked beautiful in her traditional dress I got her and had a great ceremony! They had officially gotten married. I also loved the food they served. There was a rice dish with raisins that was so tasty.

We decorated her suite that night which insued with a lot of antics from my hubby attempting to decorate and not doing amazing at it.

I got dolled up for N’s wedding day and I felt I looked pretty good which is rare for me! Pictures were fun and the weather held out when it was supposed to rain. N looked like an absolute Goddess!

The limo was fun and hanging out with her at the hotel after pictures.

Her wedding was decorated beautifully! I really enjoyed the speeches at their wedding and I nailed the one I wrote like 15 minutes before hand! I got to talk with N on her special little throne area. I joked with my hubby across the room. The food was again delicious! Really enjoyed the butter chicken. N’s dance with R was really nice and her father daughter dance.

N surprised me by saying goodbye to me at the airport which was really nice of her! Definitely had a tearful goodbye.

When arriving back home I loved seeing our cat again!!

Highlights until now :

Had my last day of work! Worked there for going on 3 years. Bought donuts for the coworkers and they liked them. Got to go on a field trip that day with children and buy ice cream! Was with J and L who are chill leaders.

Got a lovely gift card from the staff, and a card full of sincere well wishes for my future and of missing me. I had almost all the staff approach me before leaving and tell me that they will miss me and that they learned a lot from me. Most of them gave me a hug too.

I got some gifts from the children as well and many many cards. Some children who I didn’t expect to care as much cared a lot about me leaving! Which was a nice feeling.

Flew to Ottawa and was happily greeted by hubby’s parents! Had Cora’s which was wonderful and then I had a three hour nap before going to N’s bridal shower. Was able to pick up all the things we needed for it. Got to get to know her family and her sister in law really well! Had lots of laughs and fun! She liked the gift I gave her and beelined to me when she got into the place!

Next day T, and K came with their daughters C, and E. It was our first time meeting E and she was an absolutly smiley little one! Very chill didn’t cry much at all and loved people. C was a little nervous around us but her and our niece G got along well and played together. T ran up to me when she saw me and gave me a big hug then snuggled me the rest of the day!

On Monday we went for a nature walk with hubby brother sister in law niece and mom! Caught up a lot with them and enjoyed the nice walk. In the evening we met up with N and R and saw their new condo!! It looks like they will be able to make a great life there and I’m really proud of her.

On Tuesday I met with T during the day and her E and I all hung out. We got McDonald’s for breakfast (lol not healthiest) and then went to once upon a child. Got some boots and clothes for C and E! Then we went to Sephora I bought some makeup and then headed to value village. Found a hilarious charcuterie board costume for hubby! Then went back to mother in laws for sister in law birthday! We played jackbox and had cake opened presents!

On Wednesday hubby and I went to N and R’s place to help them with painting! Hubby worked on the dnd session we were gonna play that night and R and I worked on patching up the dents and holes in the room! Later that evening me hubby R, N, N’s brother, sister and sister in law all met up to play DnD! We had pizza for dinner and managed to finish the one shot that was a little anticlimactic.

Some DnD highlights were: Rogue (N) flirting with the gay guys to try to get into a closed off area.

The wizard (M) who got really into drugs at the party. What was unfortunate about this was the big bad boss could only be hit by magic and the rest of us couldn’t use magic. So the barbarian (R) grabbed the wizard and helped her direct her magic at the boss since she was too drugged up to do it herself.

The wizard (M) made the wyvern that the paladin (K) was riding in the sky turn into dust. She let the paladin fall 50 feet and hit the ground when she could have saved him.

On Thursday we went bowling with hubby’s parents sister in law and niece! It was fun to play we let our niece help us bowl a lot and it was fun teaching her. Then we went out for Baskin Robin ice cream! Then I went out for shoe shopping with N and hubby went to see P. N and I scoured two malls for rose gold shoes and found 1 but was too small.

On Friday hubby’s mom and I went to go last minute shoe shopping and found a rose gold pair of shoes at winners! (yay!). Then we went to get the dress hemmed! The lady was nice and showed us all the ways the dress can be worn. D and I also bought some decorations for N’s wedding suite. That evening we went to sushi with the whole family! Hubby’s brothers, parents, sister in law niece and brothers girlfriend! The sushi was good I like Ottawa sushi a lot!

Yesterday we went to T and K’s place! We had a great time! We played in foam and then bought a slip n slide at Walmart for liquidation 7$! Then bought a watermelon cut it up and ate it! Later we slip n slide with the foam! C was pushed down and loved it! I bruised my knees but loves sliding on it! E was in a mini photo shoot in a bath! Then we went to east side Mario’s to eat! When getting back we read a story to C and when the kids went to bed we played Mario party! T was sad to say goodbye so was I. But it was a really fun day.

Highlights until now :

Was able to stay up late and perk myself up a bit for dnd even though I was feeling low and anti social that day!

Was able to force myself even during low mood to go to the pool and get some excersize! It helped a lot too for awhile!

I had a great time at the pool with hubby. We ranked pokemon starters by type and agreed chespin should be replaced by a different line up.

Spent some time with my mom crafting! We put fake Spanish moss around the dice tower and it’s finally finished! It looks great!

Did smoothies with the kids. The younger ones were so eager to help and so excited about getting a smoothie. Made me feel happy about the work I put into it.

I got to cuddle and snuggle with hubby a lot yesterday. It felt nice

Got to year 3 in story of seasons a wonderful life! My little boy with mathew is very cute.

Kyos headgear seems to be helping her to stop kicking her armpit hair clean off so that’s something!

I tried the new pokemon sleep app today and it was fun! Gonna keep using it

I read a good manwha today when I woke up!

I’m excited about watching the DnD movie with my parents and S and M today! I hope they like it!

A lot of people at work have been complimenting me saying I’m a good educator and how they will miss me when I’m gone. Makes me feel appreciated and like maybe I am a pretty good Educator.

Highlights until now :

Been playing a lot of story of seasons a wonderful life! Love most of the changes they made so far! The events are really well done!

I am happy because I only have 3 days of 9hours at work! So I can still make money but not be totally dead for the rest of the weekend.

Done a lot of organizing! Have a plush shelf! And a figurine shelf! Made lots of extra space for other things by rearranging the shelves! Very happy with our new closet!!

Hung out with B and M! Went to abbey got some delicious blueberries (10 pounds) and hung out! Played the new cyanide and happiness board game we got! M and B made us an amazing steak meal! (very generous of them).

Hung out with M and B again! Went to white Rock and had some candy at Ricardo’s! It was overpriced but good stuff! Also had ice cream at their place! I had dulce del leche gelato! Walked along the beach for awhile and then went home.

Played dnd with new dnd group! It was lots of fun! Went to Z and C’s new place! It was a lot bigger and fit their needs better!

Almost finished up doing the dice tower!! Just going to add some Spanish moss to it and we’re done!

Also have chosen some photos for the japan trip scrap book we are making! There are so many photos and pamphlets we saved! It’s gonna be a lot to go through.

We moved one of our old shelves to our bathroom and man has it helped! Everything is so much more well organized and not dusty and gross like before! Hoping we can keep it this way.

Been doing fun activities at work! Made smoothies, did a water gun fight, played some video games! It’s been fun! But very tiring

Been watching a lot of dimension 20! Fantasy high! Really like it.

Highlights until now :

We had our watch party at work with all the kids videos! It was fun to see all their hard work!

I had my last day working at the swamp. Had a lot of memories there and the kids were sad to see me (lol more my switch) go.

I was able to workout with my mom and dad for my last two weeks of during the school year work!

I got a lot accomplished! Went to many doctor appointments for my back (unfortunately it’s still hurting) and my husband helped me out with applying for courses and schoolwork! I’m all signed up now!

Got the Ikea shelf built! It was a whole ordeal but we have so much more space available for all the things in our place and space for even more stuff!

Celebrated my dad’s birthday by giving him some nice Sweets and tennis balls! (he loves tennis).

Found out I’m going to be a bridesmaid for N’s birthday! And we are going to be able to attend her shower!

Started the summer off with a bang at work by doing water balloon games (volleyball, baseball, pinata, fight). Children absolutely loved it.

Played some dungeons and dragons with hubby’s school friends! It was a lot of fun! I’m playing Billy a boy scout druid whose a satyr!

Got story of seasons a wonderful life which is a remake of harvest moon a wonderful life! It was one of my favourite childhood games so playing it again is absolutely awesome! Planning on marrying Gordy and Mathew!

Been organizing everything again with the new shelf and making lots of progress!!

Hubby is off for the summer so it’s nice seeing him more often.

Excited to be off in August! Have so many fun plans ahead for us.

Highlights until now!

Went to see M dance show! She did absolutely amazing! A ended u joining last minute and it was so fun to cheer with her! M actually heard us shouting this time so super happy about that! Had good butter chicken and hangout after the dance.

Starting going to the gym with my dad! He hurt his knee so he can’t do many of his favorite sports activities so I thought I would make going to the gym more enjoyable for him! I like. Spending time with him too! Plus I need to excersize more to help the endorphins go!

Enjoyed some dairy queen ice cream for fathers day! Me hubby mom and dad! We talked about our future trips! How hubby lost some weight!

Been playing so much tears of the kingdom! Having fun discussing it with some of the kids at work! They help keep me interested and searching for new things in the game!

Been getting more coursework done slowly but surely! Makes me feel more confident for when I go back to school in the fall!

Hubby and I got matching ish Tshirts! He got an axolotl drinking strawberry milk and I got a 9 tail fox drinking strawberry milk! Also got my dnd character done! He’s a 10 year old satyr boy scout druid!

Hubby got a new shirt from M and B which was super sweet of them and critical role themed! He also got his Bulbasaur hawaiian shirt in the mail!

Wish hubby’s dad a happy fathers day! They are excited to see us during the summer!

Been hanging outside in our ‘yard’ more often which has been nice! Kyo enjoys it a lot!

I have been officially asked to be N bridesmaid! I am so freaking excited about it! I’ll be measuring for the dress she wants us to get today!

Went for a walk with oma and family at van dousen! It was nice to talk with her and spend time with her! Many of the flowers were blooming beautifully

Highlights until now :

Went to see spiderman across the spider verse in theatres for our wedding anniversary! Man is that such an amazing movie. The plot was more intricate I found in this one than the first! Can’t wait to see part 2

Saw H, M and O! Mainly just played with O for most of it but it was fun! He’s definitely easier to hang around with now that he’s a little older! Had a good conversation with H! we watched bluey which I think H actually likes more than O xP it was really nice to see them and hang with them again.

Been doing a really cool project at work with the kids. They are creating their own videos and editing them! We are putting them all into one video at the end and having a watch party!

Doing another dnd session with hubby and some of his coworkers! They seem nice excited to get to know them better. It was really hard for me to choose a character to be between the hippo, boy scout and orc in student debt.

Finally got the closet unit parts for our bedroom! Can’t wait to not have all my close super squished in one closet.

Hung out with M, B and hubby! We went to a escape room in Chilliwack! Then a really cool bookstore where M got a crown and tiara. We then went to a food truck festival and got some good eats! It was a little pricey but lots of fun.

Mom and dad came back from vacation it was nice being with them again! Dad helped us so much with our car that broke down and getting hubby to work. I’m happy that they are so kind and supportive.

Have been playing a LOT of legend of zelda tears of the kingdom. Absolutely loving it!! Have 3 temples done and a giant horse! It’s fun getting little things done in it here and there.

Got some new plants in our planters! Have been spending more time in the yard and Kyo is loving it.

Got some more clothes from Shein! I got a one piece that’s very summery and some flowy pants!

Been happy with all the new shoujo anime out! Sacrificial princess, how raeliana ended up at the duke’s mansion, and yamada-kun level 999! Also been enjoying latest demon slayer episodes!

Excited to get a new dress for N wedding!!

I don’t think I’ll be able to go through each day of the trip anymore but I’ll post some pictures that help highlight the trip!

Highlights until now :

Went to a circus for the first time! It was the royal Canadian circus! It was fun to have a new experience! I think I’d want to see cirque du soleil next! There were some parts I couldn’t watch though because I was nervous they were going to get hurt 😭 I really liked the dancing part, the contortionist and the tight rope act! Hubby enjoyed the motorcycle act.

We went for a walk around a lake and picked up some pokemon themed macaroons! It was hot but very beautiful! We took lots of breaks and enjoyed each other’s company!

Managed to clean my mom’s whole house before she got back from vacation! She was happy to be able to relax when she got back and that made me happy!

Found out some more information needed for what I’ll need before starting school. It was stressful to go through but I feel relieved kind of knowing where to start.

Hung out with my mom after she’d been gone for two weeks and it was fun and much needed. I missed her a lot. We went to Marshall’s and Canadian Tire together.

Did a lot of programming while my coworker was away on vacation. It was hectic and busy but so much fun! Had water balloon games on Wednesday, make your own popsicle on Tuesday, ice bucket challenge Thursday, and water gun fight on Friday. I am absolutely exhausted after it all but man was it fun planning and worth seeing the kids get so excited and enjoying it.

Been playing zelda tears of the kingdom after work all week with hubby! Beat one temple and are having fun exploring doing mini quests and such!

A introduced me to these melon popsicles and I’m obsessed. I have eaten two everyday this week. They are such a good stress reliever right after work after along hot day.
