Highlights

These past couple of months have been very hard. With my new semester courses I have had no time to do hardly anything but work. I will do my best to recap all the positives that have happened the past couple of weeks /months

My grandma passed away. I am sad that she’s gone but she didn’t want to die in a hospital and she died with very little pain at her home with my dad by her side the entire time. I feel like this was best way she would have wanted to go.

I got a new car

Many people enjoyed the math fair maze J and I created! It is dnd themed so it’s really fun.

Celebrated B’s birthday at fun haven! It was a lot of fun. We played mini golf in the new golf course and then. Played video games.

Later we hung out at M and B’s place. We played jackbox and ate cookies and popcorn.

Met my aunts and uncle at dinner after grandma’s funeral. It was nice to be with my family and all the people who my oma loved.

Went to one day at fam expo! Dressed up as mirror b. The people who did know who I was were really excited to see my costume

I got Charles Martinets autograph on my Christmas ornament! He complemented my outfit!

Saw M and B a lot! Had treats with them, and just had fun hanging with them.

Later I went to M and B’s by myself and watched Percy Jackson on Disney together and then played card games.

Later in the week we played DND after a long break so it was great to play with everyone again.

Got my mom some cake for her birthday

Playing palworld with my hubby has been fun!

This month has been extremely difficult. I have lost my last grandparent, have been sick, and having major school anxiety so I have postponed writing here because I’ve been having a difficult time trying to find the good in between all these! This is my attempt so it may be shorter than usual

Highlights until now :

Went to M’s dance recital! She did absolutely amazing I can see her dancing improve slowly and steadily!

After recital hung out with B, K, A, hubby and Y! Haven’t seen Y in awhile and we all had good laughs and conversations!

I have two people who have agreed to be my math tutor! I am praying that I understand them and learn well from them because my math anxiety is very high and I haven’t practiced math for 11 years.

I managed to catch up on school work I missed and made a schedule! That helps me feel a bit more prepared for this semester.

I have been playing a lot of animal crossing and feel like it’s a good outlit for my creativity and as a distraction for some of the more difficult things happening in life now. I really like the Dlc and want to try to make a home for all the villagers

Had two snow days with hubby and an extra one too! We both were stressed and sad but we’re able to rely on one another and just be in each other’s company and not feel alone.

Managed to clean the house! Huge win! Did a thorough job on it too with cleaning the cupboards

Played DND tonight with M, B, An, K, Al, and hubby. K and M planned on robbing someone and A was the getting the signal. But when the person they were robbing started seducing the other party member A got distracted from their job when watching them to convey the signal xP

Al became our intern in the party!!

Highlights until now:

I got two new bathing suites for our cruise!

Went on a cruise with hubby and parents!

Was able to play some basketball with my dad which was really nice and have a facial with my mom! Saw an amazing singer!

On Christmas day went to cosumel and did snorkeling with hubby! He absolutely loved it and the weather was really nice!

The Christmas dinner served was delectable and they had gingerbread cookies! Hubby opened some presents underneath a nearby Christmas tree. Got him Flamingo shirt and shorts from Miami!

Went to seven mile beach in grand cayman! The water looked so beautifully blue that it could almost be seen as fake! The sand was fine and felt so nice! We swam in the ocean and enjoyed the rays and sunshine.

Went on a tubing ride in Jamaica and really enjoyed the guide! He told lots of jokes and had us sing a lot! The greenery is so lush there.

My dad almost won the volleyball tournament on the cruise ship! Hubby and I finished the pokemon dlc together.

I got really good marks this semester! All A’s except for one class with a B+

I worked really hard on the final projects/exams and did well!

Hung out with A and P!

Hubby’s concert went well.

Hung out with M and B and we went to a bunch of collectable stores and a board game and eating area! It was a lot of fun!!

Had big Christmas get together with parents hubby and aunts and uncles and oma

Back home for the new year and enjoying a lazy day with hubby!

Highlights until now :

Sorry I have been off for a while! I have had many projects!

K and A came back from Japan! They had lots of nice pictures and they seemed so excited and relaxed. During a Dnd session they brought us some gifts from Japan which was really kind of them to do! M made A a birthday cake and some cream puffs! It was absolutely delicious!

The dnd session went well too where no one argued and we all listened to each other! It has been a while since we’ve had a good session like that.

M and I went boxing together! It was a lot of fun and a good way to get rid of stress! We went shopping afterwards to Metrotown and another area close to her aunts place! We got A a birthday present there. We had fun chatting about work and life. It was nice to have some girl time.

Hubby and I finished the final seasons with Ash as the protagonist in pokemon. I was teary eyed but I’m glad I got to watch his finale.

Have almost beaten pokemon crystal! Just need to defeat red!

Hubby and I got coral island!

I have gotten four projects back and they have all been A’s!!!

I was having a hard time but hubby stayed home with me. I had a ton of cuddles with him! We played puzzle and Mario party and laughed a lot! He was really supportive and loving it was what I really needed.

My project with my video games went well! The group one was a but of a mess but still fun. I’m going to miss the friends I made in that class. Glad I still have P

Started going to massage therapy! It definitely feels good when I’m there! Trying excersizes as well.

This past weekend we went to the the festival of lights and saw beautiful lights! It was not too cold and it was nice to see the beautiful lights while walking with hubby.

I’ve been starting to go back to aqua fit with my mom and it’s been great!

Highlights until now:

I did well on my history midterm!

I did well on my portfolio!

I went to the rec room with hubby and M for Halloween! Saw a live performance with a drag queen, magician, and a couple of dancers! Had fun playing a bunch of the arcade games! I was sailor jupiter, hubby was charcuterie board, and M was a rainbow!

Played dnd and almost got wrecked by a bunch of enemies!

Got the new jackbox game and it’s really fun! We love playing the melody one with the birds.

Had a much better time at the dentist that I usually do so that’s a plus!

Sold some digimon cards for high price!

Celebrated M’s birthday! Went to an all you can eat buffet! It was very fancy! M, B and hubby stuffed themselves with food! We hung out at our place after and got M a wig for a fearne costume she wants to make.

Finished writing two papers so at least they are done and out of the way!

Brought a video game to the music building for an assignment! A bunch of people joined and it was a lot of fun!

Been playing pokemon crystal and I’m almost at the elite 4

Caught up with one piece!

Hubby and I are watching my new boss is goofy and Apothecary diaries! We love them both.

Snuggled with hubby a lot today that was nice.

I wore a pokemon outfit for Halloween to class and people liked it.

Been watching Castaway Diva with my mom and absolutely loving it. I’m a little too obsessed.

Rewatching my hero academia with hubby!

While most of my grandma’s funeral was hard, my husband sang in front of everyone and did absolutely amazing so that was a highlight in a not so fun situation.

Finished watching heluva boss with hubby. It’s good!

Highlights until now :

I got an A and an two A- on 3 projects at school! Very excited about this!

Did well on a presentation with classmates! On the right track

R and J visited Vancouver from Ottawa! We went to dinner with them S and R and A! It was nice to see A again she’s a cute kid. Had a fun convo! Wished I coulda seen more of R and J.

Went to Stanley park with hubby on Thanksgiving weekend. Saw a beautiful heron and a turtle! Really enjoyed the fall weather and spending time with hubby. Had a nice Thanksgiving brunch with my family and aunt

Got some new digimon cards! Lots of rarest and some new decks! Excited to try em out.

Went to the mall with hubby and I had a crepe! Enjoyed walking around with him.

Made cookies with A and had a good time chatting with her!

Watching wano arc with hubby! Become a get home when your tired and watch habit

Had M and B over. We played Mario wonder! It was lots of fun. Found out I’m not great at platforms but love it with friends. We decided to all go as Mario characters together for Halloween! Also played new jackbox 10 later with A and K

Dnd was fun! Liked being with everyone.

Even though it’s been hard hubby and I are communicating well with one another and staying strong with each other through it.

Found a whole bunch of new anime excited to watch! Particularly love my goofy boss!

Finished DlC of pokemon violet! Also the post-game play!

Still slowly working on Japan scrapbook!

Highlights :

I tried basketball again after a long time. I finally met a girl at the tryouts! Most of the times it’s only been guys who have shown up. She was nice and it was fun to play again

A joined me in class on Thursday! She was fun to have around and my teachers seemed okay with her! She really enjoyed the social justice class and pulled through for our group in the English class where we played jeopardy.

Played dnd with M, B, k, an, and a yesterday. Went to M and B’s place to play which we haven’t done in awhile! A joined our campaign with a new character after his last one had died. I got to roleplay out a scene with my crush with my hubby which was really fun.

After class a and I went to dinner at Anton’s and had fun talking at her place afterwards.

I had p over for anime watching! It was fun! We watched fruits basket, Kamisama kiss season 2, and my roommate is a cat! She shared more manga with me too which was really cute.

Been filling up the pokedex in pokemon violet’ dlc which has been fun

Got to teenager stage with kid in story of seasons a wonderful life!

I got a new laptop! It’s a gaming one like hubby’s ! I am happy now cause hubby cam use his computer again and I don’t need to steal it from him anymore.

Started playing baldurs gate 3 with hubby in a new file and I’m happy playing with him

I got my first essay done after 6 years of no school done and submitted!!

Went to see star wars burlesque show! I liked the chewy and Han dances! The dance number with Darth Vader and the storm troopers was great too! And the Java the hut they made was absolutely amazing!

It was fun watching through horimiya with hubby again.

Finished one of my scrapbooks for japan!

Highlights until now :

Played a great session of Dnd on Friday! Hubby threw us for a loop for a betrayal character we weren’t expecting!

Finished book one of scrapbooking! Onto book two! Really happy I’ve progressed this far.

Went to aquafit with my mom! Hoping to get back in shape again. Enjoyed the time I spent with her and the dancing part at the end of class.

Made it through first week of classes!

Planned a cool anniversary event! We are going to a starwars burlesque show! Excited to see it.

Hubby has been enjoying baldurs gate 3! Happy to see him so happy.

Hubby and I organized course work and scheduling time! Helped me feel more organized and prepared for school!

Have been using my sailor moon bag at school! Love it so much.

Tried one piece live action and it’s not bad at all!!

Got to spend some quality time cuddles and laughs with hubby!

Highlights until now:

Went to a high heel dancing class with M and A! Wore my new heels from Ottawa! Frustrated because I want to be better at it but I got lost a lot. It was fun seeing M and A dance too though.

Went to a breakfast place after heel dancin! Waiter told some innuendo jokes that made me laugh. Food was good but talking with everyone was better.

Did Dnd again with A present! Unfortunately his character got killed by a mind flayer. We gave his character a proper burial.

Did some sex stuff with hubby which was really nice! Talk with counselling went well.

Been still enjoying story of seasons a wonderful life and rewatching Bluey.

Went tubing down Alouette river with A! K drove us there which we were super thankful for and got snacks. The river was beautiful and it was nice to be with A and hubby. Then we watched the rest of the superman show and it was absolutely fantastic! Love Lois and Clark.

Went to Harrison water park with M and B! It’s was super fun but exhausting! It was definitely funny how all of us had such a tough time pulling back onto the raft. I loved the sleek slide! Was nervous at first but overcame it which I’m proud of myself for doing. Wore a wetsuit for the first time too! It helped so much cause the water was icy cold. They had a cool teeter trotter thing I tried the rope swing it was so much fun.

Went on bumper water cars after the floaty park. It was fun spinning and spraying everyone! Learned a technique to spray at lower angles. Hubby got sprayed so much by a kid from work and all of us!

Went to eat some fantastic food afterwards. The onion rings were goooood and I’m not usually a fan. Felt bad though because I ate most of hubby’s food so I shared my salad with him.

Had some good cuddle times with hubby he reassured me about school which I was nervous about starting.

Started school for the first time at Capilano. Went to orientation and got my ID card sorted out! Campus is nice so far and I signed up for basketball so I hope that goes well! I’ve missed playing basketball.

Highlights :

Went to Alouette lake! M bought a big floaty for 4! We all had a great time just floating and relaxing together. The view of the mountains from the lake was absolutely gorgeous! Then went to a diner after which had great onion rings!

Celebrated K’s birthday again at a Chinese restaurant! I loved the fried rice which is a big deal because the only fried rice I’d eaten before or was ever good enough was from a friend who I don’t speak with anymore. Hubby ate the ox tail and loved it. Then we ate cake and had dessert back at our place! Watched make some noise all together it was fun!

A and K came over earlier on Saturday and we watched the new superman animated series. It was really cute and fun to watch.

Later we played Dnd and A was there to play in person with us! A also finally met An in person! We had a ton of fun and lots of challenges beating the enemy this time around! Hubby switched my characters personalities mid battle and I came up with a new strategy to destroy his guys and it worked (hubby is the dm).

Been working slowly but steadily on my scrapbook of japan trip and its looking really good!.

Started watching misfit series on dimension 20 and really enjoying it so far.

Played a kid event in my video game that I had never seen before and really enjoyed!

Play wrestled with hubby which was fun. Laughed a lot from his teasing.

Finished Bluey series! Can’t wiat for more! My favs still Granny mobile episode.

Went to the PNE fair with A, An, M, B and C! Saw a drag show and dueling pianos! They had more mist sprayers this year which made it cooler and was so nice to feel in the heat. Got shaved ice like last year and loved it. Got the dueling piano guys to play pokemon theme which was fun!!

Went to the barn area to see the cute animals! Learned cool horse facts from M about which breeds were race horses and their various temperaments.
